This well hidden bay can be a bustling place, with oyster farms, set net fishery operations, and a public dock that is a gathering place for anyone getting out on the Bay. Jakolof provides road access to the scenic, friendly Alaskan fishing village of Seldovia to the west and the diverse vistas of Red Mountain Road to the east. The forest alongside the road system is the perfect place for late summer berry picking; both salmonberries and blueberries abound!
