The Good Karma Inn

Alaskan Yurt Rentals

Nomad Shelter provides eight yurts for nightly rentals located in Kachemak Bay State Park and State Wilderness Park, Alaska. Yurts are located at Kayak Beach, Quarry Beach, Haystack Beach, Right Beach, China Poot Bay, Tutka Bay 1 at the south end of the Grace Ridge Trail, Tutka Bay 2, and Humpy Creek.


Public use cabins

Alaska State Parks offer more than 80 recreational cabins for use by the public. The cabins are located along trails and near remote lakes, streams, and saltwater beaches. Some cabins are accessible via highway vehicle. Most cabins are accessible year 'round by either float plane, wheel plane, boat, or trail. Hikers should prepare for back country travel and to bring alternative shelter if they are unable to reach their cabin.
