This is a very popular landing for hikers, kayakers, and campers. For hikers because it's one of the trailheads for the Grace Ridge Trail, which leads up to the ridge across the top of the mountain where the views are sensational no matter what direction you look. Kayakers like this place because it is the perfect launching beach for a paddle on Tutka Bay or a kayak adventure in Sadie Cove. Campers like this place because there are some prime locations for pitching a tent and taking in the view, setting up a base camp, or renting one of the two yurts that Kayak Beach offers.
